She was born February 7, 1950 in LaGrange, daughter of Alva and Clentis Bailey. She had lived here all of her life and was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church where she was formerly a pianist. She was a retired beautician, and attended West Georgia College in Carrollton.
Graveside services will be 2:00 Saturday at Meadoway Gardens with Rev. Aaron McCollough officiating. The family will be at her home at 4269 Hamilton Road, and will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
In-lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Miss Bailey to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 3704 Hamilton Road, LaGrange, GA 30240.
