A ceremony tonight will honor the memory of Joseph ‘Peace’ Boison, a popular clerk who was shot and killed at a convenience store.

The 10-minute candlelight ceremony begins at 12:30 a.m. at the Shell Mart at 505 Vernon St.

A concert by local band Big Muddy will be at 2 p.m. Sunday on the LaGrange College quad off Forrest Avenue to help raise money for funeral expenses for Boison.

The concert is free, but donations will be taken. In the case of rain, it will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 28.
