Mrs. Gerald Ann ‘Jewel’ Waldron, 82, of LaGrange passed away Sunday, November 22, 2009 at her residence.

She was born March 3, 1927 in Troup County, daughter of the late Bob and Eurine Heath Allen. She was a member of Dunson Baptist Church and had retired from Nok. She had also worked at McDonalds and the Dunson Division of West Point Pepperell.

Survivors include her two sons and daughter-in-law, Bobby Rushing, Sr. of LaGrange and Kenneth and Katherine Toney of Melbourne FL; grandson and his fiancé, Bob Rushing Jr. and Tracy Aldridge of LaGrange; grandchildren and a spouse, Gerri Moore of Pennsylvania, Rusty Rushing of LaGrange, Kristen (Sandy) East, Kevin Toney Kennon Toney and Karen Toney, all of Florida; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Minnie Ruth Butler of Newnan and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 4:00 Wednesday at the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with Rev. Donnie Benefield officiating. Interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will be at her home, and will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7:00 until 9:00.
