The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at Best Western Lafayette Garden Inn and the public is being invited – and encouraged – to attend.
Along with Schroedel’s remarks, a brief review of the group’s 2008 activities will be given, and the fisherman of the year and park ranger of the year will be honored.
Schroedel’s division includes the Mobile District office, which manages West Point Lake. The general has received praise from local lake leaders, who say he’s one of the first corps leaders to listen to area issues.
At a congressional hearing in LaGrange in February, Schroedel promised he would be back to West Point Lake and welcomed residents to share their concerns with him.
