Not only is the concept of preparing for war in order to promote peace counterintuitive, counterproductive, and counterintelligent; it is straight out of the King James version of that stone age terror manual, it is uncivilized, and it is fundamentally wrong and immoral. Our greatest vulnerability is not a state sponsored threat.
It is a rouge atomic bomber, inspired by religion, poverty, and injustice. No matter how many deserts we attack, we will not be able to militarize our way to security. Each time we kill innocent civilians, hundreds of their friends and relatives consider signing up for revenge training. We can not stop legions of potential stealth suicide nuclear bombers by force.
We must understand that no culture appreciates our arrogance, and we should stop trying to bully and exploit the developing world. To achieve peace, why don’t we simply ignore irrational right wing propaganda and just be peaceful?
