A LaGrange woman faces drug charges after clipping the mirror of a parked car on Boulevard and driving off.

When police stopped her on West Point Road, she said she thought she had hit a limb or tree. Her pupils were very large, but she denied taking prescription medications, officers said.

After searching her vehicle, officers found multiple pills, including carisoprodol, or Soma, and nabumetone as well as a pill cutter. She told officers she didn’t have a prescription for the pills.

She was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving on the wrong side of the road, having an open container and having drugs not in their original containers.

When you gotta go …

A man told police it was too far to his house, so he urinated outside J.C. Penney at 1501 Lafayette Parkway.

Three people told officers the man had urinated at the mall store about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. They followed him to Sub Par Golf at 374 S. Davis Road, where he tried to kick in the window, picked up a bench to throw at it, then put it down when officers arrived.

Police said the man smelled of alcohol, seemed confused and had slurred speech. He told officers he was trying to use the phone at the golf shop.

He was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
