Troup County sheriff’s investigators have made two more arrests in the shooting death of Dwayne Louder, who was kidnapped from his home in Green-ville.

His bullet-riddled body was found Jan. 3 in his car on Smokey Road in Troup County.

Kelly Lavar Stephens, 32, of Valley, Ala., turned himself in at the West Point Police Department on Tuesday afternoon, and Arthur Demartino Barrett, 20, of East 7th Street in West Point turned himself in at the sheriff’s department about 5:30 a.m. today.

They were being held on charges of murder and kidnapping, along with Toray Dontez Porter, 23, of LaGrange, who was arrested Friday.

A fourth and final suspect remained at large. He was identified as Daniel Allen, 31, of Daniel Street in LaGrange.

Louder, 26, of Hillhaven Road in Green-ville was kidnapped about 8:30 p.m. Jan. 2 as he arrived home, said Greenville Police Chief Wayne Frazier.

He said the victim’s girlfriend told investigators that one or two persons got out of a car on the street and went behind the house where Louder had parked.

“According to the girlfriend, he came down the hall with his hands in the air and the guy behind him had a gun,” Frazier said.

The woman said two or three others were behind the two men.

“She said she and her 8-year-old daughter were told to get on the floor and not look at them,” Frazier said. “They were tied up with extension cords” and the girlfriend had two guns pointed at her head.

The men ransacked the house and told her if she did not call police her boyfriend probably would be back later, but if she called the police they would kill him. She heard both vehicles leave, then ran to her sister’s house nearby and called 911.

Assisting in the investigation are LaGrange police, the GBI, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and U.S. Secret Service.

Yet another waste of a life. Also a waste of taxpayers money to prosecute him.
