The Callaway Cavaliers have won their sixth straight game.

With Tuesday’s 72-62 win at Crawford County, the Cavaliers solidified themselves as a Region 5-AA contender.

Callaway (8-2, 4-1 in region play) is tied with three other teams for the region lead, with a pair of big games looming this week.

In the win over Crawford, several Cavaliers had big nights.

Seniors Quantavius Leslie and D.J. Rutledge led the team with 18 points each.

Juniors Quan Bray and Terrance Jackson scored 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Callaway hosts Pike County on Friday before heading to Jordan High in Columbus on Saturday.

Jordan is one of the teams tied for the region lead.

The Lady Cavaliers still haven’t found their first region win of the season, with a lopsided setback to Crawford County on Tuesday.
