The Troup County Commission is inviting the city councils of LaGrange, West Point and Hogansville; the Troup County school board and residents to discuss projects that could affect all residents in the near future.

The meeting will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hills and Dales Estate Visitor Center at 1916 Hills and Dales Drive.

“About every year, typically in the past, we hosted something where the cities could come and the county was the host of it,” said County Manager Mike Dobbs.

Big topics for this year’s meeting include the addition of all the cities in the county’s new geographic information system and a discussion of tax allocation districts such as those already approved by the city of West Point.
