It’s a culmination of today’s grand opening ceremony at the plant.
“It’s a way to show our team how appreciative we are of the hard work they have put in since the start of production - and what better way to end the day than with fireworks,’, said Randy Jackson, director of human resources and administration.
The fireworks will be displayed over the north end of the plant.
“While we can’t accommodate public parking for the fireworks, we do encourage the public to sign up for public tours when those become available in the coming months,” Jackson said. “We will have a permanent tour program soon that will allow our neighbors, and others in surrounding states, to come into the plant for an up-close look at how we build the 2011 Sorento CUV and future models that will be added at a later date.”
