• A thief stole $100 worth of tools from a wood shed at a residence in the 200 block of Cherry Valley Drive on Friday afternoon.
• A thief stole a woman’s wallet from her purse while she was shopping in Kroger at 203 Commerce Ave. on Friday afternoon. The wallet contained $200 and a check written for $100. The victim had left her buggy with her purse and wallet in it for a few minutes to look around. When she returned, the wallet was missing, police said.
• A gold Nissan Maxima valued at $3,000 was stolen from a residence’s driveway in the 1000 block of Mason Street on Friday morning.
