Thanks for printing Mike Hudson’s veterans services’ article in the April 30 edition.
As stated in Mr. Hudson’s’ article, there are many benefits available to veterans who qualify, regardless of what war ot the time they served. But the veteran has to go to the Georgia Department of Veterans Service at 2170 West Point Road, Suite 35. Take your form DD214 with you.
I can promise that any veteran who goes into this office will be treated with dignity and respect. Mr. Hudson and Steve Horton, both retired from the military, will provide you with the info and the steps you need to take in order to apply for your benefits.
I started applying for my benefits in 2009 on my own. I got nowhere; I was going through the wrong channels. I went to see Mr. Hudson. I followed his advice and my benefits started in a few months. Thank you, Mike.
