A McGee Street man allegedly tried to sell three juveniles methamphetamine and hide in their house when police showed up.

Police said Dennis Lee Huguley, 37, was flagged down by the three youths, who told him that three men were scaring them and making rude comments. He then allegedly tried to sell them crystal meth, and later hid between a dresser and a bed in their bedroom on Hill Street.

Huguley gave a different story. He told officers that the juveniles flagged him down about the men. He said he would protect them, and the juveniles invited him in their house. When confronted about the meth, he told officers, “I sell weed and coke. I don’t know nothing about no meth. I don’t even know what it looks like.”

Huguley was charged with possession of meth, criminal trespass, obstruction and a probation violation.
