Mrs. Jeannette E. Riadi, age 77, wife of the late Mr. Nicholas I. Riadi, passed into eternal life on Tuesday June 8, 2010.

Mrs. Riadi was a concert pianist and was awarded the Excellence Prize for best performance from the Conservatoire de Paris.

Surviving are her 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Marina Riadi of Laval, France, Aida and Christopher Hittig of San Carlos, CA, Elizabeth and Kenneth Bacon of LaGrange, Dr. Irene and Reinhard von Hennigs of Smyrna, GA; and her 5 grandchildren, Lara Hittig, Tamara Riadi, and Sophia, Carl and Natalia von Hennigs.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 200 Lafayette Parkway, LaGrange , GA 30241 with Father Kevin Hargaden and Father Neil Jarreau, S. J. officiating. Burial services will be held at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton, GA at 3:00 PM on Saturday June 12, 2010.

Rosary recitation will be on Friday, June 11, 2010 from 6:00 to 6:30 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, GA, followed by viewing from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are to be made to the Coalition of Pulmonary Fibrosis, at 866-683-9458 indicating “in memory of Mrs. Jeannette Riadi”. Mrs. Riadi suffered from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), for which a cure is yet to be found.
