Santa still might have to break out his Bermuda shorts, but he and Rudolph may also need some rain gear.

A cold front that blew through the Southeast this weekend ushered in more “Christmas-like” temperatures – some of the coldest in the season – with temperatures in the teens this morning. Today’s “high” is predicted to be 36.

However, this cold snap will be short-lived.

Tuesday’s high is expected to be 52, then temperatures will climb to the mid-60s Christmas Eve and a high of 68 is prediced for Christmas Day. Lows on those days will be in the mid-50s.

There’s a 30 percent chance of rain Christmas Eve and a 50 percent chance of rain Christmas Day.

Temperatures will rise to the 70s by Friday with a 20 percent chance of showers.
