All the king’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put poor Humpty Dumpty together again. Some of the world’s smartest minds and leading scientists couldn’t stop the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico.
But one everyday, off-the-street plumber found the solution. Why? Because he knew why 9 times 7 equals 63.
So, Mr. and Mrs. School Board member, keep this in mind as you search for a new schools superintendent. A wall full of diplomas and polish doesn’t necessarily mean they are the right person for the job. A little common-sense approach to the job and the right attitude to education will probably work the same or better,
And remember also that it’s our money, and we want the best for the dollar. I have never seen where salaries were not negotiable.

Oh yeah we do have a new administrative building on South Davis roads with their own personal workout area even though they already had a perfectly good building on Dallas Street they could have used. Great use of taxpayer money.
Everyone in this town thinks building new buildings makes things better i.e. WGHS and our schools.
