Police arrived at the ex-girlfriend’s house and found the man with his belongings all over the ground, including two $25 shirts cut into slits, a sofa cut in several places, $75 hair clippers that were smashed, a broken grill worth $100, and a number of scratched and broken CDs and DVDs worth $200.
The woman said she put the man’s items near the street because she didn’t want him to come back to the house to get them, but said she didn’t damage any of the belongings.
The woman’s son told police he and another juvenile were responsible for the damage because he was upset about a fight the man had had with his mother.
The youths, whose ages were unavailable, were questioned at the police department, then charged with criminal trespass and released to their mothers’ custody.
