Mrs. Mary Tucker, formerly of Harris Street in Pine Mountain, passed away Saturday at Hospice LaGrange.

Mrs. Tucker, a native of Durand, was born October 26, 1933, and was the sixth of ten children born to the late Clifford and Bobbie Lee Bray Harris. She was employed with Cagle’s for many years and was a member of Saint John CME Church.

Survivors include two sons, Clarence (Vivian) Harris, LaGrange, Anthony Tucker, Pine Mountain; four daughters, Bobbie (John) Ellison, Mary Alice Dunn, Annie Mae Harris, Teresa (Patrick) Denson, all of Pine Mountain; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; devoted niece, Susie (Willie) Clark, Hamilton; daughter-in-law, Margaret Tucker, Pine Mountain; sisters-in-law, Earnestine Harris and Ethel Wortham, both of Pine Mountain; Gaynell Tucker, LaGrange; nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Tom Tucker, Sr. and son, Willie Tucker, Jr.

The funeral service will be held Friday, July 30, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Saint John CME Church in Pine Mountain. Rev. Jesse Averett will officiate. Burial will be in the Trinity Cemetery in Durand.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Mary Alice Dunn at 48 Old Chipley Road in Pine Mountain.
