ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia voters who cast their ballots for down-ticket races in July left some unfinished business for August.
Republican voters are returning to the polls in Tuesday’s runoff to decide their party’s nominee in the race for Georgia’s next attorney general and insurance commissioner. Both seats are open after incumbents left to launch failed bids for governor.
GOP voters will also decide the party’s pick for an open seat on the Public Service Commission.
On the Democratic side, voters are set to decide between two candidates running for the right to challenge Republican Brian Kemp in the secretary of state’s race.
