Mr. Skipper was born January 16, 1950 in Troup County, son of the late Oliver Venson (Bunk) and Zell O’Neal Noles Skipper. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Pine Mountain.
Survivors include his brother, Gary Skipper; three nieces and nephews; seven great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friends, Sandra and James McDonald of Pine Mountain.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 Saturday at First Baptist Church in Pine Mountain with Rev. Wayne Holloway officiating. Interment will be in Hillview East Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 before the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Skipper to Hospice LaGrange, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange GA 30240.
