Ms. Nanette Mitchem, age 54, of LaGrange passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012, at West Georgia Medical Center.

Ms. Mitchem was born February 22, 1958 in LaGrange, daughter of the late Loyd and Frances Irene Law Mitchem. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working with her flowers and solving word puzzles.

Survivors include her son, Harley Mitchem Sexton of Highland Home, Al., sisters and brother-in-laws, Barbara and Doug McClellan and Debbie and Glynn Allen all of LaGrange, companion, Oneal Mann of LaGrange, half brothers, Bobby Mitchem and Billy Mitchem, half sisters, Ruth Lawrence and Linda Johnson and several nieces and a nephew.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, at Shadowlawn Cemetery with Rev. Aaron McCollough officiating. The family will receive friends at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home prior to services from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. After the services the family will receive family and friends at her sister’s home at 4 Hamby Road, LaGrange.
