Mrs. Irene Geeter Ozley, of West Point, Georgia, died Sunday, November 4, 2012, at West Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Ozley was born, Wednesday, June 7, 1933, in Lanett, Alabama, the daughter of the late Corina White and Thomas Jefferson Geeter. She was an active member of Wehadkee Baptist Church, LaGrange. Mrs. Ozley retired from Fairfax Mill with 25 years of service. She loved to read.

Mrs. Ozley was preceded in death by her husband James Thomas Ozley, and her daughter, Clara Dykes. She is survived by her daughters, Samantha Ozley and Regina Ozley of West Point, Georgia; her sons, Gary Ozley, Eugene (Darlene) Ozley and Daryle Ozley all of LaGrange, Georgia, William Ozley and Thomas (Lee Ann) Ozley of West Point, Georgia, and Jerry Ozley of Lanett, Alabama; her sisters, Shelia Ann Stewart of Davisville, Alabama and Betty Jean Statham of LaGrange, Georgia, her brother Roger Lee Geeter of LaGrange, Georgia; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ozley will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at 2:00 PM EST from Gray Hill Baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery. Reverend Mike Reeves will officiate.

The family will greet friends Monday, November 5, 2012 from 6:00 PM EST unti 8:00 PM EST at McCarthy Funeral Home.
