Mrs. Brenda Nell Kelley O’Neal, 62, of LaGrange, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the West Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. O’Neal was born May 25, 1950 on Sand Mountain in Dekalb County, Alabama, daughter of the late Loyd and Alma Shiefflet Kelley. She was a member of the Heart of Worship Assembly of God and was the Activities Director at the LaGrange Health and Rehabilitation. She loved spending time with her family and close friends.
Survivors include twin daughters and their spouses, Kelly and Joel A. Lane of Newnan and Michelle and Michael Moore of Five Points, AL; three granddaughters, Summer A. Lane, Emily Grace Moore and Lillian Faith Moore; three sisters, Barbara Ann Kelley Spinner of Kingwood, TX, Linda Faye Kelley Robinson of Resaca, GA and Elaine Kelley Maddix of LaGrange; a brother, Maxwell Kelley of Marysville, Ca.; and special friends, Patsy Stillwell, Carolyn Huffman, and Lynn Foster, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Patrick O’Neal, a sister, Shirley Kelley Holloway and a brother, Jackie Ray Kelley.
Memorial services will be 4:00 Sunday at the Heart of Worship Assembly of God with Pastor Steve Evans officiating. The family will receive friends at the Carolyn Huffman’s home located at 131 Grayson Trail, Hogansville, and also at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00.
