The annual Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners event is looking for food and cash donations, along with volunteers to help feed those in need this year.

Founder and director of the event, Jake Sessions, said that Parmer Brothers Grocery store on Vernon Road was a major supplier of most of the food, but closed about four months ago.

“Hopefully all of the old customers of Parmer Brothers will be of big help this year, along with other people in the LaGrange community.”

Some of the food items needed are hams, turkeys, drinks, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, dressing, macaroni & cheese, plates, carry-out containers, cups, napkins, and plastic cutlery.

These donations can be taken to Lakes-Nunson-Robertson Funeral Home at 201 Hamilton Road, Roots & Branches Beauty Salon at 801 Hamilton Road, WJCN TV at the Callaway Conference Center, WTRP AM 620 Radio at 806 New Franklin Road, Good Seed Bookstore at 205 North Greenwood Street or any PNC Bank locations.

Any check donations can be made payable to Up All Night Charities.

The event is organized by “Up All Night” with Jake Sessions TV Show and will be held on Thanksgiving day and Christmas day between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m at Cannon Street Elementary located at 115 East Cannon Street. Anyone wanting to donate or volunteer can call Jake at 706-884-6963 or 706-884-1581.
