Police are looking for a suspect that was involved in two armed robberies on Thursday.

Officers say that two people were robbed of their cell phones on Callaway Avenue by three armed men. It is believed that the second robbery occurred about ten minutes later, however is undetermined due to a delay in call time by the two victims. The second robbery occurred in the first block of Turner Street where the victim was robbed of his wallet, cell phone, coat and an unknown amount of U.S. currency. During this incident one gunshot was fired.

Based on the description of the suspects given by the victims, police were able to locate the suspects’ car at a gas station on Hamilton Road. The three men were inside the vehicle when police approached. Two of the suspects exited the car and fled on foot; the other suspect fled by car and crashed into a nearby residence. The driver was retrieved from the car and arrested. Police were able to find one of the suspects that fled by foot.

Demarkees Santez Harrison,19, of LaGrange, and Lashon Demond Boddie, 17, of LaGrange, were charged with possession of a firearm or knife during certain felonies and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.

Police are currently seeking the additional suspect.
