Three men were arrested on Sunday after police located a man wanted for aggravated assault.
Reports say that after investigating a previous assault incident, evidence gave reason to believe that the suspect Jebias Heard, 21, of LaGrange, was located at the Super 8 Motel on LaFayette Parkway.
When they located Heard’s motel room, two other males were inside along with Heard. Police found two small bags of suspected cocaine, a set of scales and one 9mm handgun.
Heard and the other men Demertrius Heard, 21, of LaGrange, and Drexel McCurty, 18, 0f LaGrange were placed under arrest form possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during commission of a crime. Drexel was also a wanted suspect of two armed robberies that occurred last Thursday.
