West Point police are looking for two men they say attempted to rob the owner of the West Point Food Mart at 900 E. 10th St. as he was leaving the business about 9 p.m. Thursday.
Police said the men approached the owner and a struggle ensued. The owner was forced to the ground and stunned with a Taser-style stun gun. The two men then took off toward East 9th Street and the owner escaped with minor injuries.
The two men were described as about 6 feet tall and wearing dark clothes. One of the men had a black half-face mask and skull cap.
