Jasper “Jack” Carlisle passed away December 17, 2012 at Hospice LaGrange.

Mr. Carlisle was born September 2, 1922 in Chambers County, Alabama to the late Allen Carlisle and Judy Mae Little.

He was a product of the Chambers County School System. He was an avid farmer and dairy worker for many years. He later retired from Peabody Manufacturing Company in West Point, GA.

Survivors include six daughters and two sons: Mary Johnson of West Point, GA; Judy (Jesse) Barthel of Bainbridge, GA; Carolyn (Michael) Meadows of Lanett, AL; Gloria (Morris) Stillwell of Lanett, AL; Phyllis Carlisle of Tallahassee, FL; Vivian Carlisle of Quincy, FL, William (Lenora) Carlisle of Quincy, FL and Rev. Jimmy (Patricia) Carlisle of Lafayette, AL; thirty-one grandchildren, fifty-four great-grandchildren, four great- great grandchildren, fourteen nieces and nephews, and many friends.

The Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Emmanuel Chapel CME Church with Rev. Leon Williams officiating. Burial will follow at New Harmony CME Church Cemetery.
