Thefts, Burglaries

• An employee of Stay Lodge on Whitesville Road said that someone stole $600 from a safe deposit box.

• A man in the 100 block of Dix Street said that someone broke a window of his 1987 Nissan Sentra and stole four CDs and a CD player valued at $170.

• A woman in the 900 block of Juniper Street said that someone broke into her home and stole a 46 inch Sanyo flat screen TV valued at $700, 60 assorted pairs of Nike Jordan tennis shoes, valued at over $110 a piece, an Xbox valued at $200, a Wii valued at $150, an Acer laptop valued at $200, a flat screen desktop monitor valued at $250 a LG cell phone valued at $100 and $800 worth of assorted clothing.

Damages

• A man in the 100 block of Old Airport Road said that someone broke the rear window of his 1989 Honda Accord, causing $500 in damage.

Financial Fraud

• A North Barnard Avenue resident said that someone charged his Capital City Bank card at Models in New York for $108.86, at the Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store in Boiling Rock, N.C. in the amounts of $136,82 and $222.40 and at Quick Serve in Boone, N.C in the amount of $30.
