Mr. Jimmie Moses of LaGrange passed away Friday at the LaGrange Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Moses, a native of Troup County, was born December 11, 1934 and was the son of the late Fletcher Moses and Dolly Sterling. He attended school in the Troup County School system. He worked at the Dixie Mill of West Point Pepperell and for Daniel Construction Company. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Standing Rock.

Survivors include his children: Marilyn (Charlie) Dunson, LaGrange; Kathy (Charles) Poythress, LaGrange; Nan Denise Moses, LaGrange; Troy (Patricia) Moses, LaGrange; Jennifer Moses, LaGrange; Gregory (Marilyn) Moses, Montgomery, AL; seventeen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, J. D. Cameron, Gadsden, AL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Rosetta Broome Moses; son, Rodney Moses; three grandchildren; four brothers and five sisters.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 2:00 (Ga Time) at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Standing Rock, Alabama. Rev. W. H. Trammell will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will be at their home at 112 Clark Street.
