Mrs. Annice Hannah Bell, 89, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Hospice LaGrange.
Mrs. Bell was born September 30,1923 in Heard County, daughter of the late Bill Augusta and Tommie Lillian Johnston Hannah. She was a vital member of Unity Baptist Church where she actively served everyone, especially the youth. She was servant and caregiver to her family and friends. She loved gardening, flowers, fishing, and cooking. She thoroughly enjoyed travelling and had been to almost every state in the nation and had also visited various countries around the world.
Survivors include her beloved husband of almost 70 years, Claud Bell and daughter Marcelene New, both of LaGrange; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Luke and Deanna Fryer of Jefferson; grandson, Joshua Bell and granddaughter, Katie Bell, both of Boca Raton, FL; three great grandchildren, Walker Fryer, Kylie Fryer, and Rowen Bell; three sisters, Betty Sansone, Christine Cassell, and Doris Cassell; brother, Carl Hannah; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Bell; granddaughters, Valerie McDaniel and Laura Bell; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 Tuesday at Unity Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Bingham and Rev. Kenneth Cole officiating. Interment will be at Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will be at her home and will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 until 7:00. Flowers will be accepted, or contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Bell to Unity Baptist Church, 715 S. Greenwood St. LaGrange, GA 30240.
