Thefts, burglaries

•A man said that someone stole a gray Goodman heating and air unit valued at $4,000 from a residence in the 500 block of McCall Street.

•A man said that someone stole his black Motorola Razr valued at $500 from his red Dodge Ram pick up truck, while it was parked at Auto Zone on Commerce Avenue. The man said his phone was sitting in his front seat charging, and the driver’s side window was down.

•A man said that someone stole a white stove valued at $350 and a white fridge valued at $300 from his vacant rental property in the 200 block of McGregor Street. The burglar apparently broke the rear kitchen window, causing $200 damage.

Damages

•A woman in the 1000 block of Houston Street said someone scratched her 1998 silver Honda Accord, causing less than $500 damage.

Arrests

•Tyrone Stinson, 46, of LaGrange was charged with cocaine possession after officers found a small bag of suspected cocaine in the center console of his car. Officers searched his car after someone reported him as being an unwanted person at a residence.

•Donnie Lewis Davidson Jr., 44, of LaGrange and Douglas Ramon Ross, 41, of LaGrange both were charged with cocaine possession after officers found glass pipes on them with traces of suspected cocaine. An officer was patrolling the area of South Greenwood Street when he noticed Davidson drinking an alcoholic beverage in front of Smile Mart at 426 S. Greenwood St. The officer searched Davidson and found a glass pipe, and searched Ross and found two glass pipes on him.

•Patrick Smith, 18, of LaGrange was charged with entering an automobile for an incident on Jan. 11 on Waugh Road.
