Dorothy Lee Jones passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013.

She was born December 26, 1945, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania to Warren and Mary Mobley Strickland.

Survivors include three children: Clarissa Strickland (Jay Dee), Hogansville, GA; Lynette Stevens, Roanoke, AL; Clarence Jones, Jr. (Tamecia) Roanoke, AL; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brothers and sisters: Warren Strickland, Jr. (Darlene) New Brighton, PA; Anna Lindsey (Erasely), Aliquippa, PA; James D. Strickland, Detroit, MI; David Strickland, Aliquippa, PA; Phillip Strickland, Sweickley, PA; Robert A. Strickland, William Strickland, both of Opelika, AL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Dawson Jones, Jr. (Merdis) Atlanta, GA; Clyde Echols (Willie Fred) Carrollton, GA; Horace Jones (Rebecca), Franklin, GA; Hollis Jones (Jimmie Mae), Franklin, GA; many nieces, nepehews, other relatives, and loving friends.

The Funeral Service will be Friday, February 1, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Franklin with Rev. Christopher Bonner, Rev. Robert Strickland, and Rev. Warren Strickland, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
