Mrs. Lola Whitley Williams, 98, of LaGrange, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Hospice LaGrange.

Mrs. Williams was born December 5, 1914, Muscle Shoals, Alabama, daughter of the late Thomas Matthew and Etta Jane Brown Whitley. She worked at Callaway Mills and Company and International Playtex.

Survivors include two sisters, Ora Geter and Esther Cline both of LaGrange; sisters-in-law, Betty Whitley and Hazel Whitley and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.B. Williams, sister, Mae Duke, brothers, Walter Whitley, Oliver Whitley, Mig Whitley and Chester Whitley.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 Saturday at the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with Rev. Mike Hornsby officiating. Interment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2:00 until 3:00 before the service.
