Thefts, Burglaries

• A man said that someone entered his 1998 Jeep Wrangler and stole a Smith and Wesson Bodyguard .380 pistol valued at $400, while parked within SunPark gates on Hogansville Road. He believes entry was made by unzipping the plastic covering on the door of the Jeep to unlock the door.

• A woman in the 100 block of East Crovat Street said that someone broke into her home by forcing a door open, and stole a gray Apple laptop valued at $1,100, a black DVD player valued at $80, three collectible dolls valued at $200 each and a black/ silver radio valued at $30. A neighbor said that suspects could have possibly been a juvenile black male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and a lighter skinned male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants, carrying a backpack whom she had seen leaving the area.

• A man in the 100 block of Cooley Road said that someone stole a black Alpine touch screen stereo valued at $1,100 and CD case valued at $20 containing $1,000 in CDs from his 2000 GMC Yukon Denali. Entry was made by forcing the drivers side door open.

Damages

• A man in the 100 block of Cooley Road said that someone scratched his 2000 Nissan Altima, causing more than $500 in damage.
