Thefts, burglaries

• A woman in the first block of Waterview Drive said that someone entered her 2012 Kia Sorento while it was parked in her yard and stole $380 worth of items.

• An employee of West Georgia Custom Fence said that someone opened the garage door of the business and stole two laptop computers with a total value of $800 from his office.

• A woman in the 100 block of Ridgefield Circle said that someone stole a Garmin GPS valued at $130 from her unlocked Toyota Camry.

• A woman in the 200 block of Heritage Road said that someone stole a PlayStation 3 with two controllers and video games totaling $500, $400 from her purse, a 46-inch Vizio flat-screen TV and a Sony DVD player valued at $1,280 for both. The burglar likely entered through an unlocked window, a report said.

• An employee of Active Life on Ragland Street said that someone stripped the catalytic converter off a 2000 Chevrolet Venture. The estimated cost to replace the part was $300.

• A man in the 100 block of Seminary Street said that someone entered his room through an unlocked window and stole an Xbox 360, two wireless Xbox controllers, a black laptop and a tablet. The value of the stolen merchandise was undetermined.

• A woman in the 100 block of Ridgefield Circle said someone stole a Liz Claiborne purse valued at $700, a wallet valued at $100, $100 in cash and various cards from her unlocked Chevrolet Trailblazer.

• A man in the 100 block of Fannin Court said that someone stole a portable DVD player valued at $100 from his closet.

• A man said a thief took the catalytic converter from his 1998 Toyota 4 Runner while it was parked on Broad Street. The part was valued between $1,200 and $1,500.

Damages

• A woman in the 1500 block of Hogansville Road said that someone damaged the casing of her sliding door, causing $200 damage.
