The Cavaliers, as the number one seed in Region 4-AAA, have a bye into the region-tournament semifinals, and they’ll play Friday night at 8:30 p.m.
Callaway has already secured one of the region’s four invitations to the state tournament.
The Lady Cavaliers, meanwhile, will be the third seed for the region tournament, and they’ll play at 4 p.m. on Wednesday against the winner of a play-in game between Jackson and Rockmart.
Callaway (14-7 overall, 9-5 in region play) has beaten Jackson twice and Rockmart twice, and all of the games were blowouts.
If the Lady Cavaliers win Wednesday, they’ll advance to the semifinals, and they’ll punch their ticket to the state tournament.
The tournament is being held at Douglass High in Atlanta.
