Mr. Michael Douglas Donald, age 61, of Franklin, died on February 13, 2013, at the Tanner Medical Center.

Mr. Donald was born on September, 23, 1951, in Albertville, AL, to Mr. Douglas Donald and Mrs. Bernice Smothers Donald. He worked for Exxon Mobile Chemical as a manufacturing tech. Mr. Donald enjoyed his hobbies, automotive restoration, Nascar and football. Mr. Donald was preceded in death by his father Mr. Douglas Donald.

Mr. Donald is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bernice Smothers Donald; wife Kimie Patton Davis Donald; children, Whitney Davis, Bayley Donald, Christopher Davis (Marcie), Bryan Donald, Jonothan Donald, Kathleen Hatley Vaughn (Scotty); sister, Susan Donald Gordon (Bill); brothers, Bobby Donald (Martha), and Mark Donald; grandchildren, Kyleigh Davis, Emily Kate Donald, Ashley Donald, Tori, Taylor & Summer; and one great-grandchild, Kyleigh, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Watson, and Reverend Billy Smothers officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday from 2 until service time at 4.
