A man wanted by Valley Police for charges including burglary, rape, robbery and kidnapping was arrested on Thursday.
Reports say Keith Donald Truitt, 47, of Valley, Ala. was arrested by the Atlanta Police Department on Thursday for a September crime he committed against a 77-year-old woman involving rape, sodomy, kidnapping, assault and burglary.Truitt allegedly broke into a home of the elderly woman on Sept. 20 in the 1000 block of 55th Street in Valley and committed the offenses listed above.
He has been charged with the listed offenses and is currently awaiting extradition back to Valley.
Thefts, Burglaries
• A man said that someone stole a 15-inch tire and black rim from his utility trailer parked in the 400 block of Greenville Street. The value of the stolen merchandise is unknown.
