Employees scuffle at Sewon

• An employee of Sewon at 1000 Sewon Boulevard could be charged with simple assault after allegedly slapping another employee in the face Friday during a dispute. The victim said the employee confronted him over rumors at the plant, and he was slapped before supervisors could separate them. The employee who slapped the victim was sent home from work for poor behavior.

Thefts, Burglaries

• A woman said that someone stole a well house made of cinder blocks valued at $1,300 from a residence in the 700 block of Ralls Road.She said someone also busted the top portion of the sealed well causing about $1,200 in damage.

Damage

• A woman in the 100 block of Banks Street said someone cut the plastic insulation on one of her windows, causing less than $500 in damage.
