Mr. Mike Williams, 60, of Pine Mountain passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Williams was born October 6, 1952, in Carroll County, son of the late William Herron and Marilyn Rose Hannah Williams. He worked for the Harris County Board of Commissions Facilities Maintenance Department. Mr. Williams was a member and deacon of Beech Springs Baptist Church in Pine Mountain. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Okinawa Japan. Mr. Williams loved sports and was an avid Auburn fan. He loved and cherished his time with his family, and made yearly trips to Disney World for the past 35 years.

Survivors include his wife 40 years, Cathy Williams of Pine Mountain, sons and daughter-in-law, Chris Williams of Pine Mountain, and Keith and Jolene Williams of LaGrange; daughter, Lindsay McDaniel of Manchester; six grandchildren, Allison and (Jett) Harry, Alex (Alec) Williams, Rusty Williams, Robby Williams, Trenton McDaniel and Mackenzie McDaniel; great-granddaughter, Symphony Harry; brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Carol Williams, sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Robert Reid, Debbie Burgess, Kathy and Howard House, Jane and John Cowart, brother and sister-in-law, David and Susan Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Jamie Webb who was like a brother. In addition of his parents he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Inez Williams.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 Wednesday at the Beech Springs Baptist Church in Pine Mountain with Rev. Billy Allen, Rev. Bryan Geter, Rev. Danny Geter and Rev. Brad Thompson officiating. Interment will in the Beech Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be at his home, and will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 9:00. Flowers will be accepted, or contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Williams to the Beech Springs Baptist Church, P.O. Box 96, Hamilton, GA 31811
