Mrs. Kay Hollis Giddens, age 76 of Blue Ridge, Ga, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the Heritage Healthcare of Blue Ridge.
Mrs. Giddens was born April 26, 1936, in LaGrange, Ga., and was the daughter of the late W. T. Hollis and Maggie Smith Hollis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Wendell F Giddens of Dexter, Ga; her twin sister, Fay Hollis Browne, sister, Joan Hollis Wright; a brother, Rev W. T. Hollis, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter Dixie Carter and partner, Connie Galloway of Blue Ridge, Ga; a son, Ken Carter of Suwanee, Ga; a son and daughter-in-law, Luke and Pam Carter of Apex, NC; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Angie Carter of Dalton, Ga; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 3:00 pm at the Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange.
