Mr. Ronnie W. Rudd, 58, of LaGrange, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Rudd was born October 2, 1954, in Opelika, Alabama, son of Mr. Eddie Winston Rudd of LaGrange and the late Marlene Brooks Rudd. He was formerly employed by the SCL Railroad. Mr. Rudd was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved fishing and spending time at Lake Harding.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Penny Boner Rudd of LaGrange; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Sonny Storey; granddaughters, Ivy Rain Storey and Ember Autumn Storey, all of Pine Mountain; brothers and sister-in-law, Lonnie and Angela Rudd of Beulah, AL, and Tony Rudd; mother-in-law, Jean Boner; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Mike Ford and Deborah and Joe Greathouse, all of LaGrange; and nieces and nephews, Rodney Greathouse, Andy Ford, Wendy Fitzwater and Chancy Rudd; and several great nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be at 3:00 Saturday at the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with Rev. Brandon Brooks officiating. The family will be at his home, and will receive friends at the funeral home before the service Saturday from 2:00 to 3:00.
