Mrs. Jenny Johnson, of LaGrange, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 at her home.

Mrs. Johnson was born May 14, 1955, daughter of the late William Henry Weatherford and Aletha Dougall Weatherford of LaGrange. She was a registered nurse at the Warm Springs Rehabilitation Institute in Warm Springs. Mrs. Johnson was a wholehearted caregiver. She loved cooking, and was an avid farmer and gardener.

Survivors in addition to her mother include brothers and sisters, Bill Weatherford of LaGrange, Terry Franz of Monument, CO, Bonnie Kinder of Anderson, SC, Vicki Jackson of Tallahassee, FL, Tom Weatherford of Palatka, FL, and Sandra Flores of Tallahassee, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Kathy Johnson; grandchildren, Evelyn Johnson, Samuel Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson all of LaGrange, and 23 nieces and nephews. She was formerly married to Kenneth Johnson and was preceded in death by a son, Jason Johnson.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 Thursday at the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00.
