Mr. Shedrick Parkmond, 39, of LaGrange passed away Sunday at West Georgia Health.

Mr. Parkmond was born on November 1, 1973 in Warm Springs, Georgia and was the son of Willie Mae Parkmond and the late Rev. Dr. Arthur Parkmond. He was a graduate of the Mechanical Trades Institute Atlanta Plumbers and Pipefitters Joint Apprenticeship program. He was employed with the Plumbers, Pipefitters and Service Technicians Local Union 72 in Atlanta. Shedrick joined the Williams Grove Church early in his life.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Willie Mae Parkmond; two brothers: Arthur Lee Parkmond Jr., LaGrange; Regis Donnel (Sabrina) Parkmond, Gautier, MS; one sister, Brandi Nicole Parkmond, Smyrna, GA; two nieces: Cheyenne and Lauren Parkmond; one nephew, Aaron Parkmond, all of Gautier, MS; aunts and uncles: Mary Carter, LaGrange; Frank (Joyce) Parkmond, Hollywood, FL; Laura Delaney, LaGange; Ray (Dorothy) Parkmond, West Point, GA; Christella (Tommy) Tucker, LaGrange; Pastor John (Sally) Parkmond, Greenville; Coetha (Curtis) Wilkerson, LaGrange; Bennie Parkmond, LaGrange; Mattie Scott, LaGrange; Shirley (James) Hight, LaGrange; Vickie (Daryl) Bailey, LaGrange; Joseph (Cynthia) Parkmond, LaGrange; Frances (John) McKee, Pine Mountain; Apostle Josephine (Eugene) Snell, Pine Mountain; Gloria McGruder, LaGrange; Wayne Robinson, Columbus; Joyce Woods, Atlanta; Tina Woods, Atlanta; Patricia Williams, Pine Mountain; Anna Harris, Pine Mountain; James Moss, Pine Mountain; great uncles: Wisdom Motin, LaGrange; Sam Robinson, Hamilton; Willie Clyde Robinson, Hollywood, FL; great aunts: Catherine Ray, LaGrange; Ella Middlebrooks, Hollywood, FL; Sally Billings, Hollywood, FL; many cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.

The funeral service will be Friday, December 14, 2012 at 1:00PM at the New Beginning Baptist Church on Ware Street. Rev. John Parkmond will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Springs Cemetery.

The family will be at their home at 217 East Lakeview Drive.
