Lula Mae “Tiny” More passed away Sunday at LaGrange Hospice.

She was born February 22, 1922, in LaGrange, Georgia. She was the youngest of ten children born to the late Paul and Lula Asberry Stinson.

Early in life she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined Solomon Grove Baptist Church where she was a faithful member. She attended East Depot High School. She retired from Med Craft Nursing Home, where she worked many years; which is now known as LaGrange Nursing and Rehab Center, where she was a resident.

She was married to the late Sam Henry Moore.

Survivors include two sons, Melvin (Alma) Moore, Kenneth L. Moore; two daughters, Evangelist Willie M. Ferrell, Rosa (Willie, Jr.) Swanson; one sister, Amanda Patterson; two daughters-in-law, JoAnn Moore, Machella Moore, all of LaGrange, GA; two sisters-in-law, Julia Person, Bronx, NY; Magdalene Person, Chattanooga, TN; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.

The Funeral Service will be Saturday at 2:00 PM at Solomon Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Crawford Strozier officiating. Burial will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of her daughter, Willie Mae Ferrell at 129 Auburn Avenue and at the home of her son, Kenneth Moore, at 514 Brown Street.

The excellent care of Mrs. Moore is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
