Mr. and Mrs. Charles Allen Brown of Valley, Alabama, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Macauley Brown, to William Christopher Sellers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stanley Sellers of Five Points, Alabama.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Thomas Pitts of Valley, and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Ford Brown of Lanett, Alabama.

The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. Burnett of Five Points, the late Mr. Charles Sellers of LaFayette, Alabama, and the late Mrs. Faye Adcock of Roanoke, Alabama.

Macauley is a 2015 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor of science degree in microbiology. Macauley’s future plans include attending veterinarian school.

Christopher is a 2011 graduate of Southern Union State Community College with an associate’s degree in industrial electricity and electronics with a minor in science. He is currently employed with Conaway Electrical in LaGrange.

A June wedding is planned.
