Two men face multiple drug charges after investigators allegedly found cocaine, meth and marijuana in a Lafayette Court home Wednesday evening.

Officers with the LaGrange police Special Investigations Unit and the Crime Suppression Unit said they saw a man, identified as Justin Holliday, 36, of LaGrange, who they knew had an active parole warrant. As officers went to arrest him, Holliday allegedly ran into a house in the 100 block of Lafayette Court.

After a brief chase, investigators said they were able to get Holliday in custody.

While officers were inside the home, they said an undisclosed amount of suspected methamphetamine, scales and suspected crack cocaine were in plain view inside the kitchen. Another man, Carlos Freeman, 37, of LaGrange, was also inside the home and police arrested him.

After searching the house, investigators said they found another 40 grams of suspected cocaine in crack and powder form, along with suspected marijuana and a firearm.

Both men are being charged with two counts of trafficking cocaine, two counts of possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, two counts of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of drug-related objects and eight counts of participation in criminal street gang activity.

Holliday is also being charged with obstruction of a police officer.
