LaGrange police said a woman got into an altercation with the father of her child around 9 p.m. Thursday night outside a home in the 200 block of Hudson Street.

The man and another woman told police he was packing all of his belongings into a car and moving out of the residence. That’s when the mother of his child ran out and began squirting ketchup all over them and the interior of the car.

Police said the incident took place in front of the couple’s 6-month-old child.

The case was turned over to LaGrange Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, where the former couple could face charges of simple battery.
