Churches: Ward Chapel Church, 140 North St., hosts the seventh pastor’s anniversary for the Rev. Morrisey Whitfield at 11 a.m. Guest speaker is Rosemary Smith, associate pastor of Welcome Baptist Church.

Callaway Baptist Church hosts discipleship training, youth and children’s classes at 5 p.m.

Uplifting Your Faith Ministries, 104 Youngs Mill Road, hosts spiritual counseling/healing at 5 p.m. with Bishop R.L. Darden.

Legacy Museum on Main hosts West Point Lake at 40 Years, a collaboration with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Chattahoochee Riverkeeper through Sept. 10, exploring the history of the lake and its impact on life in the county.
